Versions: Currently there's only Keyword Elite v1.0 but Brad is promising Keyword Elite v2.0 which will be totally web based. We are expecting it by the end of 2009.

To say that Keyword Elite is a keyword tool is an understatement. There are several really good functions integrated in it:

- Generating keyword lists. It takes keywords from google.com, yahoo.com, ask.com, wordtraker.com, keyworddiscovery.com, meta tags and even finds you misspelled words.. All of these resources are totally free except for the Word Traker (you can use it's free keywords tool instead) and Keyword Discovery.

- Analying PPC listings. What this module does is getting all kind of data on the keywords you select or transfer from the first module. It gives you KEI (Keyword Effectiveness Index), number of searches, average CPC, average position. It does that for Google, Yahoo, Miva and Enhance networks.

- Analyzing keyword competition. Here you can select to see the data on specific keywords OR (I love this) enter the URL of a competitor and see what keywords they are bidding on.

There are many other options like regularly spying on specific keywords to see who is bidding on them and how much they are willing to give, integration with your adwords account - you can create your ad directly in Keyword Elite and add it to your campaigns etc.

I am still using this software and it does wonders for me. I really love it. There is but one thing that kind of irritates me. It is relatively slower than it's competitors but I learned to live with it especially when I see the massive targeted keyword lists it generates after it takes it's time.
